Girlstart After-School STEM Program (pick date in Nov)
Girlstart After School is a weekly program for 4th-5th grade girls, where participants engage in fun, hands-on STEM activities, explore different careers, and get inspired by women in STEM. Guest speakers can introduce participants to their STEM field/career and discuss inspirations, challenges, and projects they've worked on. Usually about 30-40 minutes for their presentation and a chance for Q&A with the girls.
Opportunities for Fall 2023: Available Oct-Nov, in the afternoons (exact times are time zone and school dependent). You will arrange the exact day/time of your event with the Girlstart coordinators. We are aiming to provide at least three AstraFemina speakers per season!
