UC Davis Professional Women's Evening
Tech Trek Professional Women's evening: The event is part of a week-long summer camps with the goal of exposing girls to STEM, including women in STEM role models. For the Professional Women's evening the girls are broken down into groups of 10 and rotate through different "stations", each of which is staffed by a professional woman. The women discus their career paths and take questions from the small groups of girls.
ASTRAFEMINA SPEAKER ROLE: The request is for an AstraFemina speaker who is willing to be placed at one of the stations to engage with each group of girls as they rotate through. The whole event is expected to take two hours.
